Position Title: Rental Delivery Manager

Department: Retail, Rental, & Repair

Classification: Winter Seasonal, Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Duties

• Manage operating budgets for responsible outlet.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff.
• Establish operating plan for staff for multiple van delivery, taking reservations, logistics of multiple lodging property rental and returns, and tuning of equipment
• Develop and implement training programs for all delivery staff to ensure they are exceeding our guest service and operational expectations as well as meeting all safety requirements.
• Lead all rental delivery fleet analysis and work with GM on all purchasing for rental & demo gear to meet guest’s needs and trends.
• Work with Vehicle Maintenance on van upkeep
• Provide reporting and analysis to contribute to pricing and packaging decisions.
• Work with Rental managers of JHS, TVS and Hoback to work on exchanges of rental delivery gear or returns of rental delivery gear
• Work with Repair shop manager of JHS and TVS to maintain all rental delivery fleets
• Work with Products Sales/Services, Mountain Sports School, FNB to develop products and procedures to maximize guest & process efficiency.
• Work with General Manager to set and maintain store appearance guidelines. Coordinates all van/store maintenance and repair needs.
• Plan and pursue wholesale & reservation rental opportunities.
• Work with Reservation and Wholesale departments to ensure accuracy of reservations.
• Work with RTP manager to ensure accuracy of Rental product set-up and procedures.
• Work with GM to develop and implement Rental marketing strategy.
• Work with groups to ensure effective communication and procedures.
• Oversee daily operations of delivery outlets, ensuring procedures and policies are set up and executed to hit high accounting standards.
• Direct and execute physical inventory process- ensure all procedures and policies are in place regarding inventory management. Hit seasonal targeted inventory shortage goals.
• Develop and implement inventory awareness programs for all delivery staff.
• Establishes and maintains proper safety practices for guests and staff in rooms, physical locations, and while driving. Set appropriate safe and courteous driving regulations for staff.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Suite proficiency
• Basic knowledge of the bike/ski/snowboard industry and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
• Extensive technical knowledge of rental operations for applicable rental equipment.
• Exceptional people management and leadership skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required.
• Previous experience in rental operations required.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in resort operations preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
