Rental Site Supervisor
Position Summary
The Rental Site Supervisor is a part-time position responsible for serving as the on-site representative for facility rentals at Hyland Hills community facilities. Supervisors oversee rental activities, ensure compliance with facility policies, provide customer service support to renters, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Hours: Typically 4-12 hours per shift, depending on rental schedules and event duration.
This position supports rentals at the following locations:
· Carl Park Community Center 5401 Meade Street, Denver, CO 80221
· Baker Community Center 6755 Irving Street, Denver, CO 80221
Rental Site Supervisors are assigned shifts based on facility rental schedules and staff availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prior to each rental, the Rental Site Supervisor will:
- · Arrive before the scheduled rental start time.
- · Unlock the facility and disarm the security system.
- · Conduct a facility walk-through to identify any existing damage, safety concerns, or cleanliness issues.
- · Welcome renters and provide access to the facility.
During rentals, the Rental Site Supervisor will:
- · Verify the renter's reservation date, time, and location.
- · Ensure renters comply with all facility rules, policies, and rental agreement requirements.
- · Remain on-site throughout the duration of the rental.
- · Provide renters with access to approved facility amenities, including:
- Kitchen facilities
- Refrigerator
- Microwave
- Oven (when permitted)
- · Provide facility Wi-Fi access when needed.
- · Supply cleaning materials and encourage proper facility care during the event.
- · Answer questions and provide customer service support to renters.
- · Monitor facility usage and address concerns as they arise.
- · Notify the Guest Services Coordinator of any incidents, facility concerns, policy violations, or emergencies, and contact emergency services or law enforcement when appropriate.
Following each rental, the Rental Site Supervisor will:
- · Review the rental checkout checklist with the renter.
- · Verify that the facility has been cleaned and returned to its original condition.
- · Inspect the facility for damages, missing items, or policy violations.
- · Secure and lock the facility.
- · Report any issues, damages, incidents, or maintenance concerns to the Guest Services Coordinator.
Qualifications
- · Strong customer service and communication skills.
- · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- · Ability to remain professional and enforce facility policies when necessary.
- · Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or difficult situations.
- · Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Hours: Typically 4-12 hours per shift, depending on rental schedules and event duration.
- Availability: Evening and weekend availability is required.
Working Conditions
This position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on facility rental schedules. The employee must be able to walk throughout the facility, perform inspections, and remain on-site for the duration of assigned rental events.
