Summary
Packs and ships processed meat products into custom displays and containers in a food production facility, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Position Summary: To better serve our customers with a more rapid response on orders of non-case stock items by custom packaging into merchandising vehicles. Improving the output of the packaging department by taking customized display type items off the line.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Packaging of vacuum-packed and gas-flushed processed meat products into a large variety of shipping containers, displays, and merchandising vehicles.
- Takes responsibility of work area to produce a safe and quality food product. Reporting all food safety and quality related problems to your manage and to the QA department to initiate immediate action.
- Other duties as assigned.
