Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Repair Manager based in Pompano Beach, FL. The repair manager oversees repair operations to ensure equipment and machinery are maintained and restored efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise repair staff and assign work orders
Ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance
Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
Manage repair schedules, parts inventory, and documentation
Mentor and train repair team members
Analyze repair processes and implement efficiency improvements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance, service, or repair experience within the elevator industry required
Must reside in or near Pompano Beach, Florida
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of elevator systems, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and industry safety standards
Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics
Strong customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and address service concerns
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage schedules, and respond effectively to urgent maintenance issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations and safety requirements
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly to customer sites and field locations
