Repair Technician
Summary
Repair Technician reconditions and tests equipment in a warehouse setting, using tools and testing devices to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
JOB SUMMARY:
Repair Technicians recondition parts and equipment and test reconditioned parts and equipment.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support a safe work environment, practicing safe working techniques and compliance to safety programs.
- Ensure products meet or exceed quality and performance standards, improve efficiency within processes and procedures and continually improve through the use of Lean tools.
- Recondition parts and equipment as directed.
- Assist with inventory, warehouse and delivery preparations.
- Dismantling of old machines.
- Interior & exterior cleaning, painting, and maintenance duties as directed.
- Complete assigned tasks within scheduling deadlines.
- Provide phone support to Cash Depot field technicians as needed.
- Identify and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Testing required parts and equipment to verify part is operational prior to placing back into inventory.
- Proper use of associated programs for logging daily assignments.
- Operate as a team player and help to unify the team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a warehouse setting with a technical / repair lab, shipping and receiving area and equipment set-up and reconditioning environment. This role routinely may use standard electronic / mechanical testing equipment, hand lifts and forklifts, and hand tools. Will use office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
