Requirements Analyst
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month
About the role
This role combines requirements analysis and quality assurance responsibilities, requiring expertise in gathering, documenting, and validating business and system requirements, as well as planning and executing comprehensive testing activities across the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Gather, analyze, clarify, and document business and system requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and expected system outcomes
Translate business requirements into clear and testable functional specifications
Review requirements and identify gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, and potential risks
Create and maintain requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure requirements are properly understood and implemented
Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business and system requirements
Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing as required
Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects throughout the testing lifecycle
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and delivered functionality
About you
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or similar role
Strong experience in software QA/testing, including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect management, and validation
Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation
Experience creating functional requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience working with both Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
