- Conduct fundamental research on equities, mutual funds, fixed-income securities, and
other financial instruments. - Analyse company financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic
developments to identify investment opportunities. - Develop and maintain financial models, valuation models, and investment screening
frameworks. - Prepare research reports, investment notes, and actionable investment
recommendations. - Support portfolio construction, monitoring, and periodic portfolio reviews.
- Track market developments, regulatory updates, and economic indicators impacting
investment strategies. - Assist in preparing investment presentations, client proposals, and research materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide research-backed insights for investment
decisions and client discussions. - Ensure all research activities comply with applicable regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Requirements
- CFA Level II Qualified (minimum requirement).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA, CA, or other relevant finance qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, valuation techniques, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management concepts.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and company valuation.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with financial databases, research platforms, and investment tools is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable investment insights.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- 1–3 years of full-time experience in Equity Research, Investment Research, Research Analyst, Investment Advisory, Wealth Management, Portfolio Analysis, or related financial research roles.
- Candidates with 6–8 months of internship experience in the above domains may also
be considered if they demonstrate strong analytical and research capabilities. - Exposure to equities, mutual funds, brokerage research, or investment advisory will be
an added advantage. - Freshers are not eligible for this position.
