Summary
Research Assistant conducts literature reviews, collects and analyzes data, and prepares reports to evaluate early intervention programmes for stakeholders.

- Join to support early intervention programme evaluations through literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of research reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Literature Review
- Conduct literature reviews and consolidate relevant research findings, local and overseas references, and best practices to support programme evaluation activities.
- Support the development of research questions, evaluation frameworks, Programme Logic Models (PLM), and implementation logic models.
- Assist in reviewing programme outcomes, processes, and implementation approaches.
Data Collection & Management
- Coordinate with programme centres and stakeholders to facilitate data collection activities.
- Support the administration of surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods.
- Manage consent documentation and tracking for research evaluations.
- Extract, consolidate, clean, code, and maintain research datasets from various sources.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data for analysis.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Support qualitative and quantitative data analysis for programme evaluation studies.
- Assist in identifying trends, summarising findings, and preparing research insights.
- Support the preparation of presentation slides, reports, and research documentation.
- Present research findings and updates to stakeholders when required.
Stakeholder Coordination & Administrative Support
- Liaise with programme centres, research teams, and relevant stakeholders to support evaluation activities.
- Track project progress, follow up on required information, and provide administrative support for research projects.
- Perform other ad-hoc research and administrative tasks related to programme evaluations.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Policy, Research, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Prior experience in research, programme evaluation, data analysis, or project coordination will be advantageous.
- Experience conducting literature reviews, surveys, interviews, focus groups, or qualitative research is preferred.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, coding, and analysis processes.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Excel, NVivo, or similar software will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to consolidate research findings into clear reports and presentations.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple research activities and timelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
- Candidates with exposure to programme evaluation frameworks, logic models, Theory of Change (ToC), or social service/education-related research will be preferred.
