About the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.

Job Description

Candidate is to contribute to

  1. the construction of an ion trap apparatus,
  2. the running of various atomic physics experiments pertaining to the assessment of an atomic clock performance
  3. the analysis of any experimental data that is collected
  4. and day-to-day operations and management of the laboratory

Qualifications

Candidate must have a solid background in physics (BSc with a major in physics or equivalent). Must have experience working in an atomic physics laboratory preferably with ion-trap experiments.
