Summary

Research Fellow conducts actuarial and statistical research, data modeling, and simulations to support academic publications and reports at a Singapore university.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct literature reviews and integrate relevant research findings.
  • Perform data collation, statistical modelling, and simulation exercise.
  • Contribute to academic publications, technical reports, and conference presentations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Statistics.
  • Actuarial professional qualification (SOA, CAS, IFoA, Actuaries Institute) is an advantage.
  • Strong programming skills in R and/or Python.
  • Experience in insurance and retirement modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to contribute to academic writing and research publications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary research teams.
