Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Wu Jishan on conversion of biomass platform chemicals to conjugated polymer mononers under a project on "Singapore Platform for Bio-derived Specialty Polymers Research, INnovation and Translation (SG Bio-SPRINT)".
The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Organic synthesis of designed molecules.
2. Physical characterization of electronic and optical properties.
3. Material applications.
Qualifications / Discipline:
- PhD degree in organic chemistry and organic materials; or PhD candidate who just submitted PhD thesis.
Skills:
- Strong in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry
Experience:
- Rich experience in organic chemistry and organic materials.
