Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Ge Shaozhong on transition metal-catalyzed transformations of biomass-derived compounds under a project on "Singapore Platform for Bio-derived Specialty Polymers Research, INnovation and Translation (SG Bio-SPRINT)".
The main responsibilities of the position include identifying selective transition catalysts for transformations of biomass-derived feedstocks to access drop-in monomers.
• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in organic synthesis or organometallic chemistry
• Skills: NMR, HPLC, GC, GC-MS analysis; Schlenk techniques
• Experience: Minimum four years of research experience
