Research Fellow Radiology
A Research Fellow opportunity is available in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota. The candidate of choice will work on projects analyzing PET images primarily to assess neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative disease and exploring biological relationships between neuroinflammation and other aspects of brain dysfunction to provide insights into disease mechanisms. Analyses will involve assessing neuroinflammation PET in specific regions of the brain and at the voxel-level across the whole brain, and performing multi-modal analyses of PET with other MRI and PET biomarkers, such as MRI volume, diffusion tensor imaging, and metabolism on 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET. The role will involve writing manuscripts for publication and presentation of results at National and International conferences.
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
