Research Manager

You will guide fellows and mentors through AI safety research projects. You will provide feedback, help projects progress from conception to completion, facilitate coordination, organize research meetings, support career development, and improve program systems and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and feedback on research directions, writeups, and career trajectories
• Help AI safety research projects progress from conception to completion
• Facilitate coordination between fellows, mentors, and collaborators
• Organize and lead research meetings
• Connect fellows with relevant resources and domain experts
• Support mentor and fellow management
• Build, improve, and maintain program systems and infrastructure
• Contribute to strategic planning and internal projects

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in project management, research management, people management, technical research, governance or policy work, or mentoring
• Communication

• Knowledge of AGI safety and catastrophic AI risk
