Job Summary:

Ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of an organization’s daily activities by optimizing processes, managing resources, and supporting operational objectives. This role varies across industries, but typically includes responsibilities like tracking operational metrics, improving workflows, managing logistics, and collaborating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities (What you contribute):

  • Assist in planning and executing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

  • Ensure operations meet regulatory, quality, and safety standards; manage documentation and compliance requirements.

  • Identify operational challenges and develop solutions to address them promptly, reducing downtime or delays.

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, HR, customer service) to align operations with broader business objectives.

  • Address escalated issues, streamline support processes, and work to enhance customer satisfaction where relevant.

  • Support stockroom operations

  • Support EH&S responsibilities including the EH&S committee.

  • Support laboratory operations, equipment maintenance and lifecycle tracking.

  • Coordinate vendor service and repairs, handles communications and scheduling.

  • Respond to critical equipment alarms during and after business hours (night and weekend redundancy is essential).

  • Protect research continuity through proactive maintenance and rapid response

  • Reduce single points of failure across the Research Operations team.

  • Troubleshoot system errors, update leadership with operational needs.

Pay Range: $56,538 - $94,658, pay is determined by years of experience.
