Applications are invited for a Research Project Manager to join the Radiotherapy Related Research (RRR) Group within the Division of Cancer Sciences at The University of Manchester. The post is based at The University of Manchester’s Withington site, within the Paterson Building. The main purpose of this post is to manage a portfolio of head & neck cancer research. The research project manager will play a key role in the delivery of a number of national CRUK-funded phase I/II clinical trials (PROTIS and TORPEdO) and may also be required to support research across other tumour types. Responsibilities will be varied and require flexibility, initiative and the ability to quickly learn administrative processes within a busy academic clinical research environment. The successful candidate will have experience of working in administration and maintaining accurate data records, alongside excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to ensure successful delivery.
