Research Scientist
Job Descriptions:
- Lead and invent the new technology and ingredients with functional and sensorial benefits for personal care market and Household Industrial & Institution market, for examples, emulsifiers, film formers, rheology modifier, moisturizers, etc.
- Independently perform research across multiple projects concurrently and effectively based on business and customer needs.
- Propose and execute in-vivo and in-vitro test methods to develop structure-performance relationship, and to generate data for supporting application and benefiting claims of the new functional ingredients.
- Collaborate with Product Application Chemists in creating an unique prototypes of trending concepts to demonstrate the benefits of the new functional ingredients.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in chemistry and other related field, preferably with strong knowledge in colloidal science, green chemistry , or polymer science. Post Doctoral or Industrial experience is a Plus.
- Track record in innovation, creativity, and independent thinker.
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- knowledge of market and consumer insights, sensory & instrumental protocols for the personal care and beauty market is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams that include Formulation, Production, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Control.
