Research Student- Individual & Genomic Medicine

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Under the supervision of senior research staff, the Research Student will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct assigned research tasks and experiments in accordance with established laboratory protocols and scientific standards
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art scientific equipment and instrumentation with precision and adherence to safety guidelines
• Collect, analyze, and document research data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations for review by supervising researchers
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and ensure proper documentation of all experimental procedures and results
• Collaborate effectively with research team members and communicate findings clearly through written and oral presentations
• Adhere to all institutional policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements governing biomedical research
• Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Individual and Genomic Medicine through rigorous scientific inquiry

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

• Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
• Demonstrated commitment to rigorous scientific inquiry and exceptional organizational capabilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating complex laboratory equipment with precision and safety awareness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
