Research Support Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support a clinical research study conducted across multiple clinics in the Tampa area. The Research Assistant will play a key role in engaging patients, facilitating study enrollment, and ensuring smooth coordination of study activities. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently across sites, and adherence to research and regulatory requirements.
- Screen patients per protocol and obtain informed consent.
- Collect, label, document, and transport biological samples safely.
- Administer surveys and gather participant-reported data.
- Maintain accurate records and update study databases promptly.
- Coordinate with clinic and research teams across sites.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, ethics, and regulations (e.g., IRB, HIPAA).
Minimums
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience. Higher education may substitute for the experience.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma and 3 years work experience
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
