Researcher

You will conduct comprehensive research on emerging DeFi protocols and products. You will build and calibrate risk models, optimize mechanism parameters, and analyze financial and on-chain data to extract actionable insights. You will run and write Dune Analytics and SQL queries to fetch and normalize data, read and interpret smart contract whitepapers, and produce professional reports. You will present findings to clients and the broader community, collaborate with internal teams to refine outputs, and contribute to continuous improvement of research processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of emerging DeFi protocols and products
• Model and calibrate protocol risk parameters
• Optimize mechanism design and protocol parameters
• Analyze financial and on-chain data to extract actionable insights
• Run, modify, and write Dune Analytics and SQL queries for data fetching and normalization
• Read and interpret smart contract whitepapers
• Develop and deliver professional research reports
• Present research findings to clients and the community
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine outputs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research methods and tools

Requirements

• European Time Zone
• Proven experience in economic research, risk analysis, or a related field
• Preferable experience in DeFi or blockchain protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to compile and write formal research papers and reports
• Proficient in reading and understanding smart contract whitepapers
• Comfortable running and modifying Dune Analytics queries and writing basic SQL queries
• Ability to work with clients and internal teams
