Resident Architect (RA)
Working Days & Hours: 5.5days/ 6 Days Alternate
Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise all architectural works onsite to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, LTArequirements and contractual requirements.
· Coordinate closely with the LTA ArchitecturalTeam, Architectural Consultant, Contractor, RTOs and other disciplines on architectural and site matters.
· Review and monitor architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups and method statements.
· Monitor architectural progress, workmanship and quality, and identify and resolve site issues and design discrepancies.
· Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, civil, railway systems and other specialist works.
· Review and follow up on RFIs, technical queries, site instructions, non-conformances, defects and rectification works.
· Provide regular updates to the LTA Architectural Team on architectural progress, key site issues, outstanding matters and proposed follow-up actions.
· Attend site, progress and technical coordination meetings and provide architectural input and direction.
· Monitor architectural works through completion, testing, defects rectification and handover.
· Ensure proper records and documentation are maintained for architectural inspections, submissions, approvals, defects and handover.
Requirements
· Minimum 8 years of architectural experience with a recognised Degree in Architecture or relevant field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of projects of similar scale and complexity in the local context.
· Registered Architect with relevant professional registration and experience suitable for LTA projects.
· Strong knowledge of architectural construction, detailing, materials, finishes and site coordination.
· Familiar with LTA requirements, specifications, construction procedures and documentation.
· Good coordination and communication skills with consultants, Contractors and LTA project teams.
· MRT/railway or LTA project experience will be an advantage.
Dedicatedfull-time on-site presence required from 6 months prior to BSC until CWW is obtained.
