Resident Assistant: On-Call or Part-Time

Provide daily care and companionship to seniors in an assisted living facility, including personal care, medication assistance, and activity engagement.

CARING & COMPASSIONATE RESIDENT ASSISTANTS NEEDED
As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by helping them maintain their independence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assisting with mobility, transferring, and light housekeeping.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for side effects (training provided).
- Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and life enrichment activities.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reliable, compassionate and a true desire to support seniors.
- Be patient and calm, especially in difficult situations.
- Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
- Physically capable of doing work that requires standing, lifting, bending, pushing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience or CNA/HHA certification is a plus (but not required).
- Must pass a background check.
SHIFTS & OPEN POSITIONS:
Days: 5:45am - 2:00pm
Evenings: 1:45pm - 10:00pm
Evening Float: 4:30pm - 9:30pm
Overnights: 9:45pm - 6:00am
- EVERY OTHER WEEKEND: Scheduled to work every other weekend and can pick up additional shifts as wanted.
- CASUAL / ON-CALL: Required to pick up a minimum of four (4) open shifts a month.
- PART-TIME: Scheduled to work 10 - 55 hours a pay period including every other weekend.
WAGE & BENEFITS:
- Starting Wage: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differential: Evening shifts additional $.75 per hour. Overnight shifts additional $1.25 per hour.
- All positions accrue Paid Time Off (PTO).
- Positions scheduled 60 or more hours in a pay period also qualify for Health and Dental Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance, and Life Insurance.
