Resident Engineer
Summary
Oversee on-site construction quality, safety, and progress for infrastructure projects, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
- Supervise and monitor the work quality, workmanship and work progress on site.
- Check the site safety measures in compliance with the requirements of supervision plans.
- Liaison in project interfaces, and coordination with contractors, consultants, public and private stakeholders, including Government departments and utility companies
- Carry out supervision to check the essential items for specified tasks, including ELS constructions.
- Coordinate and compile reports on supervision activities including reports on non-conformities, to deal with non-conformities and complaints
- Check the works in compliance with the approved design, the approved temporary works, method statements, precautionary and protective measures, all statutory requirements and contract specification
- Review the Contractor’s submissions.
- Attend the site meetings and project meetings, and
- Assist and coordinate with the design office for all site works/matters.
- Verify materials and equipment used on-site match specifications and quality requirements.
