Job Summary

Lead and supervise civil and structural engineering site works for major construction projects, ensuring compliance with statutory codes and quality standards while coordinating with project consultants and owners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil and structural site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect construction works as directed by Client QP(S), QP(Geo), project consultants, and FUI owners
  • Apply leadership and organizational skills to coordinate site activities and ensure smooth project execution
  • Interpret and enforce statutory codes and requirements for site supervision and quality control procedures
  • Administer construction processes and prepare accurate progress reports for stakeholders
  • Supervise complex structural steel works, drainage, and building construction projects, including long-span steel roofs exceeding 40m span

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a civil and structural engineer, including at least 5 years supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity involving major building, structural steel, and drainage works
  • Civil and structural engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
  • Accreditation with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Registered Engineer (Civil & Structural) with supervision experience in long-span steel roofs over 40m span
