Resident Engineer (Civil)

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team to ensure quality and compliance in Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works
• Assist the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager by conducting site inspections, managing contract issues, identifying defects, and supervising rectification works
• Evaluate and respond to Contractor’s RFIs and technical submittals to maintain project progress and compliance
• Assess method statements and instrumentation readings to support construction accuracy and safety
• Coordinate with discipline engineers and liaise with design teams and QP from headquarters to align project objectives
• Lead technical and work progress discussions in site and project meetings with clients and contractors to drive timely resolution and project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognized by the PE Board, Singapore
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment projects
• Registration with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil)
