Resident Engineer

Job Summary

Manage and lead a team overseeing excavation, piling, strutting, and reinforced concrete works. Provide technical solutions, coordinate inspections, and report progress to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team of RTOs to supervise excavation, piling, strutting, and reinforced concrete (RC) works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and develop solutions to resolve construction-related problems and site issues, minimizing delays and maintaining quality
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and secure approvals for completed works to meet regulatory and client requirements
• Prepare and deliver regular site progress reports to the Project Manager, Consultant, and Client, ensuring transparent communication of project status
• Attend site meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical and construction challenges, facilitating smooth project execution
