Resident engineer for AWS
Job Description:
- Strong experience in Java development, microservices, cloud technologies, and data platforms.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in a banking environment.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Kotlin, and Go.
- Build microservices and APIs using Spring Boot and Kafka.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Support data platforms using Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and MongoDB.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable solution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of application support/resident engineer experience.
- Experience supporting applications in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Experience with Linux, microservices, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and DevOps practices.
Preferred:
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience with Big Data and Analytics platforms.
- Technical leadership and solution design experience.
