Job Summary

Lead and supervise mechanical and electrical engineering site works for major construction projects, ensuring compliance with statutory codes and quality standards while coordinating MEP interfaces and resolving integration issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&E site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect mechanical and electrical works according to directives from Client, QP (MEP), project consultants, and FUI owners
  • Apply leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage site teams effectively and ensure smooth project execution
  • Interpret and enforce statutory codes and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration, and progress reporting
  • Coordinate MEP interfaces by maintaining interface registers and evidence logs to identify and resolve integration and interfacing issues
  • Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with construction standards throughout the project lifecycle

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possess a Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant mechanical and electrical engineering experience, including at least 5 years supervising major construction works involving building or utilities services laying, testing, and commissioning

  • Strong supervision and leadership skills demonstrated through managing site teams and project workflows
