Resident Engineer (M&E Cert) | Up $7K per month
Description
We are looking for a Resident Engineer (RE) to join a leading construction team, overseeing key projects from planning to completion.
Roles & Responsibilities
Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act & Regulations.
Oversee all aspects of the construction project, maintaining and submitting accurate records.
Provide support and assistance as directed by the Superintending Officer or Professional Engineer.
Assess temporary works by contractors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Ensure contractors’ working procedures align with agreed method statements and Workplace Safety and Health regulations; recommend modifications as necessary.
Inspect completed work and prepare defects lists when needed.
Basic Requirements
Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certificate in Singapore (mandatory).
3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods.
Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work on-site independently.
Compensation
Salary: SGD 6,000 – 7,500/month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
