Resident Engineer (Mechanical)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Resident Engineer, Qualified Person (Supervision) and Lead Resident Engineer with daily site supervision and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, Singapore Standards, national regulations and relevant Authority requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with Contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Review and coordinate design submissions, calculations and drawings for mechanical and process elements across WTE, MRF, SIF and Food Waste Treatment facilities.
- Coordinate with Engineering Managers and Project Technical Specialists across all disciplines.
- Define inspection and special testing requirements and ensure proper coordination.
- Ensure all inspection and documentation records comply with project specifications and Authority requirements.
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering Degree or recognised certification in the relevant discipline.
- Registered as a Resident Engineer (RE) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES/ACES, where applicable.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure/industrial projects.
- Experience in Waste-to-Energy, power plants, waste/water management projects is preferred.
- Singapore experience is preferred; relevant overseas/international experience will also be considered.
