Resident Engineer
- Check that all necessary drawings and instructions have been given to contractors and authorizations obtained, in accordance with the agreed programme
- Manage a team of Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site supervision
- Check that all construction work is carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is kept secure
- Oversee all aspects of the project and keep record of works, materials, attend meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions etc.
- Keep a record of all measurements and tests and to bring plans into conformity with the work actually executed
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.
- Accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES/ACES
