Resident Medical Officer
Summary
Provides on-site medical care for mining personnel, including emergency response, routine treatment, and referrals, in a remote West Nusa Tenggara location.
Responsible for providing comprehensive medical care in a mining environment, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common illnesses and injuries, preventive, curative, and emergency medical care, patient stabilization, and coordination of referrals for specialized treatment to ensure timely and appropriate healthcare for site personnel.
- Medical Doctor with a valid Indonesian Medical Registration Certificate (STR) and completion of the mandatory internship programme.
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduation experience in general and emergency medicine, preferably in a mining, oil & gas.
- Holds valid ACLS and ATLS certifications.
- HIPERKES certified.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess, manage, and stabilize medical emergencies, and to coordinate referrals for specialized care when required.
- Knows how and when to seek specialist advice in areas such as occupational health, emergency medicine, and other relevant medical disciplines.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, contractors, management, and external healthcare providers while remaining calm under pressure.
- Willing to work full-time on a roster basis and be based in Sumbawa.
