Job Summary
You will provide first-line clinical coverage, manage complex cases, and mentor junior doctors. You will assist in running clinics and performing procedures or operations under senior doctors' supervision.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first-line clinical care to patients, ensuring effective diagnosis and treatment in line with hospital protocols
- Manage complex medical cases by applying broad and deep clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Guide and mentor junior doctors to enhance their clinical skills and decision-making capabilities
- Assist in organizing and running outpatient clinics to ensure smooth patient flow and care delivery
- Support senior doctors in performing medical procedures and operations within authorized scope
Required competencies and certifications
- Maintain active clinical practice to ensure up-to-date medical knowledge and skills
- Hold a basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school
- Be registered as a medical practitioner with the Singapore Medical Council
- Have at least 3 years of post-housemanship experience as a medical officer or equivalent in the relevant specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant specialty
- Possess recognized postgraduate qualifications such as MRCP, which would be an added advantage
