About the role

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for overseeing the building [Architectural, Civil & MEP] project costs, from the initial calculations to the final figures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for Proposed design and construction projects; Analyze project specifications and drawings to forecast expenses.
  • Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial control; Compare supplier and subcontractor quotes with the market price to optimize costs.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms with clients and contractors; Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
  • Manage variations, claims, and change orders during project execution.
  • Resolve disputes related to contracts, payments, and project scope.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and risk assessments for procurement decisions.
  • Monitor project expenditures and track cost deviations.
  • Measure and value completed work for interim and final work measurements and payments; Certify contractor and subcontractor payments based on progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project.

About You:

  • BSc. In Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics Or Civil Engineering from any reputed university
  • Minimum 06-08 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, and contract administration within construction, consultancy, or PMC environments.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial aspects of building construction projects. Strong exposure to BOQs, rate analyses, tender evaluations, and cost reporting.
