Job Description

  • Oversee and coordinate site operations to ensure works are completed on schedule, in full compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Discharge all duties and responsibilities of a Site Supervisor in accordance with BCA regulations and statutory requirements.

  • Ensure construction activities comply with contract documents, approved drawings, technical specifications, work programmes, and site instructions.

  • Review construction drawings and specifications, identify inconsistencies or discrepancies, and promptly report findings to the Officer-in-Charge (OIC).

  • Conduct inspections of materials and workmanship to verify compliance with approved standards; initiate corrective actions and report non-conformances to the RE/QP when required.

  • Supervise and verify that all structural and critical works are carried out strictly in accordance with approved design and construction plans.

  • Participate in site, progress, variation, QA/QC, and coordination meetings, and ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of all proceedings.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised Polytechnic or equivalent accredited institution.

  • Registered with IES as a Civil & Structural Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with a valid certification.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in site supervision, preferably on projects under LTA, HDB, DSTA, CAG and Factory Buildings.

  • Flexible to work shift schedules, including night shifts and rotational Sunday duties.
