Job Summary
We are hiring a Resident Technical Officer (Civil) for the Terminal 5 project in Changi Airport. This role requires holding an RTO certificate from IES and involves overseeing on-site project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with the Building Control Act and approved construction drawings
- Monitor and verify that civil and structural works are executed according to project specifications and standards
- Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to resolve site and construction-related issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth site operations
- Coordinate with team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Registration with IES as Resident Technical Officer (Civil)
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising civil and structural construction works
- Demonstrated communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Working hours: Shift work based on 44 hrs workweek.
