Job Summary

Your job scope is civil and geotechnical engineering expertise to supervise as RTO in PUB projects involving pipe jacking works, deep excavation, foundation works, ground improvement, and monitoring instrument installation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and geotechnical engineering works for projects involving pipe jacking, deep excavation, and foundation systems to ensure structural integrity and compliance
• Supervise ground improvement techniques and oversee installation of monitoring instruments to collect and analyze construction data for project safety and quality control
• Manage project activities to meet technical specifications, timelines, and regulatory requirements for complex building construction works
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering solutions and optimize construction processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer(C&S) Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, preferably in pipe jacking and deep excavation project.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD are preferred.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering design and supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity
