Job Description
- Assist the Consultant in supervising the construction of structural works in accordance with the Building Control Act.
- Supervise and inspect the Contractor's works to ensure that all site works meet the required quality standards.
- Ensure proper site documentation is maintained.
- Monitor construction activities, including piling works, precast segment installation, bearings, and expansion joints for bridge construction works.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Consultant and Developer.
- Verify that the Contractor has completed defect rectification satisfactorily.
- Monitor and track defect rectification to ensure compliance with the required service standards.
- Attend joint site inspections with residents, where required, to better understand and address their feedback or requests.
Job Requirements
- Possess a recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with IES/ACES.
- Accredited by IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) Practising Certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Civil & Structural (C&S) Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
- Candidates with their own mode of transportation are preferred due to the location of the project site.
Employment Details
- Employment Period: Until the end of July 2027
- Annual Leave: 14 days
- Medical Leave: 14 days
- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS): 1 month (pro-rated if the employment period is less than one year).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Other Information
- No transport allowance.
- No overtime claim.
