Residential Counselor - Hunters Ridge - Hoffman Estates [Sun 3pm-Mon 9am] (18hrs)
Summary
Residential counselor providing direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, implementing individual program plans, facilitating community outings, and supporting recreational activities. Part-time role with Sunday 3pm–Monday 9am shift at $21.35/hr plus paid training.
A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
- Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
- Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
