Are you a compassionate, dependable person who enjoys helping others live safely and comfortably in their own home? We are seeking a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

In this role, you will help individuals maintain their daily routines, make personal choices, and participate in everyday life while promoting dignity, independence, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting, according to individual needs.
• Support meal preparation, eating, hydration, and other daily household routines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and comfortable living environment.
• Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and other physical support needs.
• Encourage individuals to make choices and exercise their rights while respecting privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
• Follow each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and applicable behavioral support strategies.
• Monitor individuals' health and well-being, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to medical or other emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily service documentation and required records.
• Support individuals with appropriate recreational activities and everyday community participation.
