Residential Quality Assurance Director

SUMMARY
The Residential Quality Assurance Director supports the ongoing compliance, quality improvement, and performance monitoring efforts of OMH (Office of Mental Health) and OASAS (Office of Addiction Supports and Services) licensed residential programs and services in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties. This role is responsible for assisting with the organization and review of program documentation, monitoring regulatory and agency requirements, tracking corrective action plans and project deadlines, and supporting preparation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews. The position collects, analyzes, and reports operational, compliance, and incident-related data to identify trends, promote timely follow-up, and support continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with monitoring compliance with agency policies, licensing requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Support quality improvement initiatives through routine monitoring, audits, data collection, tracking, trending, and follow-up activities for continuous quality improvement.
- Monitor compliance tracking, reporting schedules, and documentation to ensure timely completion of required activities.
- Assist with preparation for regulatory reviews, surveys, inspections, and other program audits.
- Coordinate assigned projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, deadlines, and project outcomes.
- Collect, maintain, analyze, trend and report operational, compliance and program performance data; monitor and provide updates of annual program goals or key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports and recommendations for leadership as needed.
- Monitor compliance with corrective action plan (CAP) deadlines and ongoing action items.
- Collect, monitor, and provide data on incident report trends.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with Residential Division leadership, direct support staff, and executive-level staff to review quality assurance activities, communicate findings, support follow-up actions, and promote consistent implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Partner with compliance, quality improvement, and program leadership to monitor documentation trends, identify risks, and implement corrective action plans that support OMH, OASAS, Medicaid, and other organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance Directors across the organization to share best practices, promote consistency, standardize approaches where applicable, and advance continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and outcomes.
- Participate in agency Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Corporate Compliance committee meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support residential operations and strategic priorities.
