Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Location: Boston, MA — This is an in-office opportunity, with attorneys generally working onsite five days per week. Some flexibility may be discussed based on individual candidate needs.
Note: Must have an active Massachusetts Bar license and hands-on residential real estate experience, including negotiating residential purchase and sale agreements, title clearing, and conducting residential closings. A JD is not required for this position. Candidates from solo practice backgrounds are welcome, and more senior candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
- Negotiate and review residential purchase and sale agreements while protecting client interests.
- Review title and identify, address, and resolve title issues.
- Coordinate and complete title clearing requirements.
- Conduct residential real estate closings and ensure all transaction requirements are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate directly with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, and other transaction professionals.
- Advise clients on legal and practical issues that arise throughout residential transactions.
- Manage deadlines, documentation, due diligence, and closing requirements.
- Resolve transaction issues using sound legal judgment and practical problem-solving.
- Deliver a responsive, professional client experience throughout each matter.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Bar license required.
- 2+ years of residential real estate law experience.
- Experience negotiating residential purchase and sale agreements.
- Experience with title clearing.
- Experience conducting residential real estate closings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Strong client service and negotiation skills.
- Solo practice experience is welcome.
- More senior candidates are welcome to apply.
