Residential Security Officer
Rock Valley Community Programs Residential Security Officer
- Monitor residents through counts, facility walkthroughs, and monitoring CCTV and GPS tracking.
- Administer urinalysis and breathalyzer (UA/BA) testing
- Respond to crises and execute emergency protocols
- Dispense and record medications accurately (CBRF Certification)
- Maintain recordkeeping (daily logs, check-ins, and checkouts)
- Facilitate intake processes and client orientations
- Transport residents as needed using agency vehicles
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Working knowledge of computers, or willingness to learn
- Prior experience in corrections, human services, or security is a plus
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must complete TB test and drug screening (on-site).
- Completion of CPR, First Aid, CBRF Fire Safety, and Choking training within 90 days
- Employment is contingent upon passing a state and federal background check.
