Resort- Laundry Attendant

General Position Summary:

Ensures that linen is clean and available for the hotel and spa as needed.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Approaches all guest encounters utilizing the Clearly Superior customer service standards
• Processes, separates clean and dirty linen
• Manages time effectively by following the predetermined schedule for all aspects of laundry cleaning
• Loads and unloads machinery
• Performs all stages of linen processing (i.e., sorting and weighing soiled linen; clean linen; runs clean laundry through the proper machinery)
• Cleans the laundry equipment for maximum efficiency
• Follows the established procedure for discarding damaged linen
• Makes suggestions to the Laundry Supervisor on supply levels
• Assist in laundry inventories
• Attends all vendor and company training
• Reports machine malfunctions and all unsafe working conditions immediately to the Laundry Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper

Secondary Functions:

• Maintains confidentiality of all guests
• Other duties as assigned
