Resort Manager

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager for a luxury private island property in the Seychelles. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded hospitality professional to take on a leadership role in a remote, high-end environment, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
  
• Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team across all departments
  
• Ensure operational efficiency across departments including front of house, housekeeping, and guest services
  
• Maintain and uphold luxury service standards and brand values
  
• Drive team performance through training, mentoring, and development initiatives
  
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and proactive manner
  
• Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth coordination and communication
  
• Monitor budgets, costs, and overall financial performance in collaboration with the finance team
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar senior hospitality management role within an ultra-luxury property
  
• Proven remote island or hardship location experience is essential
  
• Pre-opening experience is a must
  
• Strong rooms division background (candidates from an F&B background will not be considered)
  
• Fluent in English and at least two additional languages, one of which must be German
  
• Additional languages such as Swiss German or Russian are highly advantageous
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  
• Strong understanding of operational systems, including property management systems and general IT systems
  
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and interpret reports
