Resource Manager
The Resource Manager is a strategic partner to Service Line Leaders and engagement teams, aligning talent deployment, capacity, scheduling, and workforce analytics with client-service needs, utilization goals, team member development, and long-term workforce planning. This role translates service-line strategy, pipeline, and utilization objectives into actionable staffing recommendations; proactively addresses capacity risks and scheduling challenges; and improves resource-management processes, tools, data, and reporting.

Required Skills
- Strong business-partnering skills with the ability to translate service-line demand and utilization goals into actionable resource plans.
- Advanced knowledge of resource management, workforce planning, capacity forecasting, scheduling, and talent deployment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret workforce metrics, identify trends and risks, and provide practical recommendations.
- Ability to develop actionable forecasts, dashboards, KPIs, reports, and recommendations that improve utilization and operational effectiveness.
- Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to establish credibility across the firm.
- Knowledge of professional-services metrics, including utilization, productivity, realization, leverage, and capacity, preferred.
- Proficiency in ProStaff or similar resource-planning systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with data-visualization tools preferred.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement and change-management initiatives that strengthen resource strategy, processes, reporting, data quality, and technology adoption.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and accountability.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, operations, finance, analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Typically requires seven or more years of progressive experience in resource management, workforce planning, capacity planning, scheduling, operations analysis, talent planning, or a related function, preferably within a professional-services environment.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders to align workforce capacity, staffing decisions, and resource plans with operational priorities and utilization goals.
- Experience analyzing workforce trends and developing forecasts, dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership audiences.
- Experience with workforce scheduling, resource-planning, or professional-services automation tools, such as ProStaff, preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting, visualization, or business-intelligence tools preferred.
- Experience supporting process improvement, operational transformation, change management, or workforce-tool implementation preferred.
- Relevant certifications in workforce planning, project management, analytics, human resources, or operations preferred but not required.
Work Conditions
- This role may experience high levels of stress due to strategic importance and tight deadlines.
- Availability outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to meet business needs.
- Overtime is required during peak times of the year.
- Regular travel to industry events, networking functions, and other offices may be necessary.
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $120,000
