Respiratory Therapist
We're hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our team! In this role, you'll provide in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment. This is a contracted position available as full-time, part-time, or PRN, covering the following Iowa counties: Fayette, Buchanan, Chickasaw, Bremer, Black Hawk, Floyd, Butler, Grundy, Hardin, Franklin, Cerro Gordo, Hancock, Wright, Hamilton, Humboldt, Webster, Greene, Carroll, Sac, Calhoun, Pocahontas, Kossuth, Winnebago, Worth, Mitchell, Howard, Winneshiek, and Allamakee.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
- Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
- Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits (as needed).
- Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Respiratory or DME experience preferred
- Licensed Raspatory Therapist
- Strong patient communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
