Respiratory Therapist (PRN)

Respiratory Therapist is responsible for patient care through the cardiopulmonary processes of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Also directs and guides patient/family teaching and collaborates activities with patient care personnel while maintaining standards of professional respiratory care. Contributes to cardiopulmonary and the hospital through support of philosophy, objectives, educational, and research efforts.

Qualified candidates will possess a degree from an Accredited School of Respiratory Care, current license from the Missouri Board of Respiratory Care, BCLS, ACLS preferred. Ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and demonstrate an ability to work independently and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of electronic medical record is preferred. Candidate should be willing to work days or nights and 12 hour shifts. Position reports directly to the Cardiopulmonary Department Director.
