RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RT)

Position Overview:

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for the delivery, set-up and training of patients of respiratory equipment and provide quality patient services. RT will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with the clients and patients.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver and set-up respiratory equipment/services. Equipment includes but is not limited to: CPAP, BIPAP, suction unit, apnea monitor and ventilator.
• Demonstrate equipment and give proper training to patient/caregiver.
• Pick up equipment when use is disconnected.
• Clean and test equipment to make patient-ready.
• Answer patient phone calls and follow-up with patients, administrators, and physicians
• Assist warehouse team as needed.
• Pull supplies for mail delivery.
• Schedule appointments with patients
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must participate in mandatory on-call and call-back program to respond to emergencies
