Restaurant General Manager - Couqley French Brasserie
- Oversee the daily operations of our award-winning restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards and operational excellence at all times.
- Place both guest and Heartist experience at the centre of every decision by leading through example, fostering an engaging, supportive and empowering work environment.
- Partner closely with the Assistant Restaurant General Manager and Bar Manager to develop and implement initiatives, promotions and incentives that enhance guest satisfaction, drive team engagement and maximize revenue.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the restaurant's reservation, booking and guest profiling systems to optimize guest experiences and commercial performance.
- Build strong collaboration between the Front of House and Back of House teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
- Proactively gather guest feedback, identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to continuously elevate the dining experience.
- Drive service excellence by planning and delivering regular training sessions, coaching, performance feedback and daily briefings, ensuring all restaurant and bar team members consistently uphold brand standards.
- Inspire, motivate and develop the team to achieve business objectives while creating a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
- A track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens and bars; you’re a natural at inspiring trust and bringing others along on a journey.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy, bustling environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling many things at once.
- Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues.
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
- You’re a great communicator – both verbally and written – and a great listener. Fluent in English and French is strongly preferred.
